so i was talking to celine and telling her something for geog.

celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
two consecutive meanders. with more erosion and deposition, the two meanders draw closer forming a loop. soon the neck of the loops meet. with more deposition and erosion, the neck gets closed up - cut off. forming a ox bow lake!
yingxin love is fading says:
lol okay
yingxin love is fading says:
its not with more erosion and deposition.
"as the the process of erosion and deposition is repeated, over time,..."
celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
OH RIGHTTT.
celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
HAHHA.
yingxin love is fading says:
aiyohhhh
yingxin love is fading says:
wrong wrong. damn not detailed.
celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
REALLY? ):
celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
shit lah!
celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
HAHAHAHA.
yingxin love is fading says:
wait ahhhhh
yingxin love is fading says:
wait. im drawing oxbow lake for you
yingxin love is fading says:
An ox-bow lake is a shallow horseshoe-shaped or crescent-shaped lake filled with stagnant water in the lower course on a floodplain formed by erosion and deposition
the river in the lower course meanders widely across the low-lying plain. lateral erosion and undercutting occurs on the concave banks where the stream flows the fastest. deposition occurs on the convex banks because of the slack wate.
yingxin love is fading says:
not done yet
yingxin love is fading says:
The continuous erosion on the concave bank and deposition on the convex bank causes the formation of a very pronounced meander with two neighbouring concave banks getting closer.
celine m. caught in the in between of beautiful disaster. says:
omgoshh. that is really detailed! HAHAHA. oh man. die. die. die.
yingxin love is fading says:
The narrow neck of land between the two neighbouring concave banks is totally cut through by either lateral erosion on the two concave banks or strong currents during a flood. When this happens, a new straighter river channel is created and an abandoned meander loop, called a cut-off is formed.
yingxin love is fading says:
when deposition finally seals off the cut-off from the river channel, an ox-bow lake is formed.
yingxin love is fading says:
an ox bow lake may not be a permanent feature because the water may dry up and it is then filled with sediments and vegetation
yingxin love is fading says:
done

lol compare the lengths of the two explanations. no wonder mg girls hardly study. but still.

i miss geog. rahh. why cant i take many many subjects. then i dont have to choose =/
